Courier company DPD Ireland is officially opening its newly-expanded premises in Athlone today.
The DPD expansion announcement was made just over a year ago. Two-hundred new jobs were promised as part of the expansion. Since the announcement was made, the company has been recruiting for a variety of positions including:
- Sorting technicians
- Drivers and Van Operators
- Administrative staff
To date, 100 of the new job roles have been filled. The remaining 100 posts are now to be filled by the end of this year.
