Cork is getting 350 jobs in construction with a new six storey office block at Albert Quay in the city’s doklands region.Construction on the €90 million development is set to begin this year and it’s proposed that it will be completed by the autumn on 2018.
Cork City Council have now given the green light for the plans which are being put forward by the Owen O’Callaghan owned O’Callaghan Properties.In total, four different buildings will built on the 2.25 acre site bounded by Albert Quay to the north, Victoria Road, Albert Road and Albert Street.
The location is at the centre of public transport options and just a few minutes walk from the city centre,” O’Callaghan said
The completed development will be named Navigation Square and is part of a number of developments by other companies in the area.
