Irish sports science company Orreco has raised $2 million in funding from Silicon Valley venture company True Ventures, enabling the creation of 30 new jobs at its Galway operation. The company is also establishing an office base in Los Angeles, USA.
The company is now to recruit for 30 new roles, at least half of whom will be based in Ireland. The main focus is on data science roles, which are very rare skillsets and really in demand. Orecco want people with a sports science and data science background. Additional roles include account managers and administration support roles
