Ryanair will create over 3,500 jobs next year in Europe as it takes delivery of 50 aircraft in the coming 12 months.Ryanair said that it will require an additional 2,000 cabin crew, 1,000 pilots and 250 engineers over the next year. It will also promote over 300 first officers across its European network. Ryanair has 84 bases.

Ryanair said that a range of new positions will be created by the airline in the coming year in functions including IT, sales and marketing, digital, as well as finance and commercial divisions at its headquarters in Dublin, and also at its Travel Labs subsidiary in Wroclaw, Poland.

Eddie Wilson, Ryanair's chief people officer, said 2017 would be the airline's busiest recruitment year. He added that over the next five years the airline will hire a total of 5,000 people.
