Telnyx a leading next generation provider of wholesale real-time communications and VoIP services, announced today that it has established its global presence by opening a new office in Dublin. The Dublin location marks the startup’s second branch, with its headquarters in Chicago.

Telnyx’s cloud-based platform delivers reliable real-time communications to its business users around the globe. The next-generation phone company created a purpose-built infrastructure that enables managed service providers and enterprises to purchase wholesale telecommunications services a la carte via their Mission Control portal and API, allowing customers to Be Their Own Carrier®.

Telnyx plans to hire up to 20 network, devops and site reliability engineers in the next year to create a full platform engineering team to support global deployments. Recruitment is already underway. Separately, they are building a technical network operations center and a service center to offer customers more coverage and availability across a wide range of time zones and languages.

“Ireland embraces innovative companies, and we’re excited to be part of the tech community in Dublin,” said Telnyx Co-Founder and COO Ian Reither. “There are a lot of talented knowledge workers in the technology and communications field in Ireland, and we’re looking forward to adding to our team and keeping momentum with our growth thus far.”

Telnyx received strong support for its second office from the IDA Ireland, an agency responsible for the attraction and development of Foreign Direct Investment in Ireland. The IDA Ireland helped Telnyx establish an office site and initiated connections to business resources in the Dublin area.

“Dublin is a perfect home for our second location, and we’re hoping it’s the first stop of many in our plans for global expansion,” said David Casem, co-founder and CEO of Telnyx. “It’s important that we continue to deliver mission-critical voice communications to customers around the world.”
