Packaging, supply chain and logistics company The Packaging Hub is creating 40 new positions at a new healthcare facility in Waterford, expecting to fill the roles by the end of 2018.Known as the company’s packaging manufacturing facility and healthcare logistics centre, The Packaging Hub’s new office will open up new business opportunities in the healthcare industry.
The company now has operations across three continents. Directors George Banks, John Hudson and Malcolm Hoylesaid that they are committed to growing The Packaging Hub’s manufacturing and logistics facility in Waterford.
Speaking on behalf of the executive team, George Banks said: “This is a very important stage in the development of the business and we appreciate the support of Enterprise Ireland in helping us to reach this level.
The company raised €360,000 from investors through the EII scheme in 2014, followed by another €380,000 last year. Packaging Hub booked a profit of €84,000 in 2014, finishing the year out with a net worth of €1m.
