Tony Monks, General Secretary of the INOU said
" We are delighted that the President will address our fourteenth Annual Delegate Conference.

"The presence of the President at this event is a positive endorsement of the work done to combat unemployment by the INOU on a national level since 1987, and by our affiliated organisations throughout the country.

"This conference presents an important opportunity to re-double our efforts for the challenges ahead, particularly in the wake of recent job losses. Our goal is a truly full employment society where everyone who wants to work can get a decent job within a reasonable period of time, and where those out of work have an adequate income and access to real training and employment opportunities."
