INOU Annual Delegate Conference
14 Sep 2004
Wednesday 15th September 2004
Croke Park, Hogan Mezzanine Suite, Dublin 1.
10.30 – 2pm
Opening Address by Mr Fintan O’Toole, author and journalist
The focus of this year’s conference is on progress to date on the implementation of the social partnership agreement Sustaining Progress, and what it is delivering to unemployed people.
‘This theme is very apt, as the mid-term review of Sustaining Progress has just been finalised. It will provide an opportunity for the organisation’s membership to learn what has happened so far under the Sustaining Progress agreement and how it is impacting on unemployed people’, said Mr Eric Conroy, General Secretary INOU.
The INOU Annual Conference is a key decision and policy-making forum for the organisation. The Conference provides opportunities for delegates from our affiliated organisations and branches to participate in INOU policy-making through debating, discussing and voting on the submitted motions. The Conference also elects members to our National Executive Committee.
