Short-term Unemployment is up by 3,600

The Central Statistics Office issued their latest Quarterly National Household Survey for Quarter 1, 2007.
So what does it tell us about unemployment? The good news is that long-term unemployment is down to 26,000, representing 1.2% of the labour force. The last time long-term unemployment stood at this figure was Q3 in 2002.
