INOU Fear that unemployment will reach 5% by the year’s end

The Live Register figures released today by the Central Statistics Office (CSO) show that the Live Register has decreased by 1,000 on the seasonally adjusted figures. While the INOU welcomes the fact that there has been a small monthly decrease, we are concerned that the unemployment rate is now .5% higher than it was ten months ago, at 4.7%.
