Minister Pat Carey launches Info Pack for the Unemployed
6 Sep 2010
"The INOU was particularly pleased to welcome Minister Pat Carey to Araby House on Monday September 6th," said John Stewart, Co-ordinator with the Irish National Organisation of the Unemployed (INOU). "We believe the range of information leaflets that the Minister launched on behalf of the organisation will provide an invaluable resource for unemployed people and potential employers," John continued.
The launch took place in the INOU's office at Araby House in North Richmond Street, Dublin.
Two of the leaflets provide information for unemployed people on their welfare rights whether they were an employee or self-employed. Two of the leaflets provide information on the main education and training options available to unemployed people. One provides advice on looking for work and where support services are available. Another leaflet provides information to unemployed people looking to "Start your own business". The final leaflet provides information for employers on incentives available to recruit unemployed people.
The suite of leaflets are available from the INOU at 01 856 0088 or on-line on www.inou.ie and www.redundancy.ie
