SL Controls

Address: Castletroy, National Technology Park, Co. Limerick

Irish software firm SL Controls today officially opened its new office in Limerick.

The opening of the office, carried out by Minister of State Pat Breen, brings the company’s total number of offices to five.

The company, which integrates and validates software systems into manufacturing and process equipment, will hire 10 engineers to work in the office over the next six months.

This latest recruitment is on top of the 30 jobs that the company created last November.

Recruitment is underway for full-time positions for automation and control system engineers, computer science engineers and validation engineers.

The company cited the strong economic growth in Limerick and the expansion of its client base in the Midwest as two of the reasons behind its need to open an office in Limerick.

Our business has doubled in size over the last few years and the expansion of our regional offices is key to our growth, placing specialist software engineers directly in the areas where we operate.

Opening in Limerick allows us to create clear career paths for our employees as well as stability for our customers in Limerick and the Midwest region," Keith Moran, SL Controls managing director and co-founder, said.
