Facebook has acquired a long-term lease of the 14 acres in Ballsbridge for a new campus development at the site of AIB Bankcentre opposite the RDS.
The move will see Facebook quadruple its current floorspace to 870,000 square foot across a number of buildings with capacity for an additional 5,000 employees.
RGRE said the deal represents the largest single office letting in the history of the state.
Construction commenced recently of c.350,000 square feet (32,500 square metres) of net lettable area. John Sisk and Sons is undertaking the the building contract.
