FINGAL County Council (DCC) has notified Dublin City Council that it has granted permission for a so-called ‘super depot’ on land off St Margaret’s Road.
DCC owns the land but it’s controlled by Fingal County Council meaning it had to apply to its neighbouring local authority for permission to build the €27 million plant.
The massive depot is being built to replace several smaller council depots across the city that support essential city operations.
A civic amenity site forms part of the proposal.
