THE Northside received a much-needed housing boost last week with the news that 84 new social homes are to be built in Dublin 13.
Gannon Homes have partnered with the Iveagh Trust to deliver the units within the overall development of Clongriffin Town.
Construction is now well underway on site to provide a range of large one, two and three-bed apartments along with larger three-bed duplex type units.
The development is expected to be completed by Quarter 1, 2019. All of the new homes will be made available to individuals and families on Dublin City Council’s housing waiting list. Delivery of the project has been achieved through agreement with the city council and is funded by the National Asset Management Agency (NAMA).
When completed, Gannon Homes’ development at Clongriffin Town will be home to over 10,000 people and include commercial, retail, student and hotel accommodation.
