LinkedIn is planning 200 new hires at its EMEA headquarters in Dublin. Established in Ireland in 2010 with just three employees, LinkedIn currently employs 1,000 people working across all product lines and fifty markets.

The new roles will be in sales and sales support, customer operations and engineering. The engineering team in Ireland is focused on natural language processing and machine learning Taxpayers are helping to fund the new hires with undisclosed financial assistance from IDA Ireland.

LinkedIn’s new office building at Wilton Place in Dublin 2 is due for completion in 2017. The new building will have an in-house gym, 300 bicycle parking spots, barista stations and a music room.

The company is already actively recruiting for the first 100 roles, with LinkedIn’s senior director of international operations and Irish head Sharon McCooey expecting the remaining 100 jobs to be filled in the early months of 2017.

“We’re openly hiring. We started in 2010 and I was the third employee through the door,” Ms McCooey said. “It’s been great growth every year since.”
