LinkedIn has launched a pilot programme aimed at helping people return to the workplace.

The initiative will initially create 10 jobs at LinkedIn’s EMEA headquarters in Dublin across a number of areas including sales, global customer operations and talent acquisition.

The professional network site chose Dublin to launch the programme – Returnin – which will focus on assisting people who have taken a career break to look after children, or care for family members, in returning to work.

Under the programme, LinkedIn will offer returning professionals additional training, an extended on-boarding period, and the provision of ongoing mentoring to ensure that participants make a seamless transition back into the workforce.
