The 2018 competition for Temporary Clerical Officer (TCO) with the Civil Service is now open. Closing date is 3pm Monday 5th February 2018.
This is a fantasic opportunity to get a taste of what working in the Public Service is all about. These positions are open to anyone who is over 16 year of age (i.e. born on or before 16th February, 2002) should be a serious consideration for 5th and 6th year students in 2nd level, those in further and higher education colleges and anyone interested in temporary work. These positions will be available nationwide.
Public Service
bodies and agencies require temporary clerical staff from time to time to fill vacancies in various locations throughout the country. Many of the vacancies occur during the summer period.
Candidates must read the Information Booklet before proeceeding with an application.
The terms and conditions, including the duration and period of temporary contracts offered will vary from post to post.
