600 new jobs are to be created at software giant Microsoft’s Dublin operations. Microsoft has revealed that it is creating 600 new roles in Ireland, with the majority of positions in its sales division.
A further 100 jobs will be available across Microsoft’s existing operations, in areas including finance, operations and engineering.
The company came to Ireland in 1985 initially to manufacture software but its Irish operations have grown to foster a variety of important roles from software development to data management.
Recruitment for Microsoft’s inside sales roles in Ireland is already underway. The company will move into a new campus in Leopardstown before the end of the calendar year. The €134m campus will include a range of employee perks, such as a gym, ‘bespoke designed restaurants’ and rooftop terraces.
