INOU Local Training Initiatives: Looking to the Future

INOU logo

Since our last E-bulletin both of the INOU’s Local Training Initiatives (LTI) Shaping Futures and Building Futures programmes along with the coordinators and external tutors are continuing to work extremely hard on the new online platform. Both groups continue to engage with this new way of learning and are all working so hard to ensure that they receive their full major awards in August. Massive congratulations to four of the Building Futures students who have been offered 3rd level college places for this coming September while others are awaiting interviews. Also two of the Shaping Futures students have been offered QQI Level 5 courses while others are in the process of applying for courses and apprenticeships. What a huge achievement this is for them all, so really well done. Congratulations to Rachel from Building Futures who had a beautiful baby boy and Yvette from Shaping Futures who also had a beautiful baby boy! We wish them all the best in the future.

On behalf of the LTI staff, again, we would just like to say a huge thank you to all the students on both programmes for continuing to engage with us on a daily basis considering the current situation they are under. We appreciate it so much and look forward to working together over the next few months.

Finally, we mentioned in our last article that recruitment for both programmes have been put on hold. However, the Co-ordinators on both programmes are working hard behind the scenes to arrange to meet our referrers in order that we can start the recruitment programme as planned. In the meantime both programmes are advertised on Fetch Courses.  You can register with either programme by clicking the relevant link below.
