This online training will have a particular focus on the Back to Education Allowance (BTEA) taking participants through the different aspects of the payment from the application process to how decisions are made.
The module will include information on the process if an application is refused and the effect the payment will have on secondary benefits.
We will also provide information on the summer break and payment, as well as qualifying for BTEA after the first year, taking-up work and the BTEA, and returning to the original payment.
The online session will also include information on both the Part-Time Education Option and the Education, Training and Development option.
