The new Jobseeker’s Pay Related Benefit has been introduced from the 31st March. This two-hour online training programme will provide a comprehensive explanation of the new payment. Some of the topics covered will include:
- the process for eligibility and qualifying for a payment;
- payment rates and duration;
- taking-up work;
- the application process;
- the different conditions that apply if applicants were in receipt of another Social Welfare payment when becoming unemployed, and highlighting the situations when the Jobseeker’s Allowance would be a financially better payment for an applicant.
An important aspect of the training will be to include significant time for questions and discussion.
