The Defence Forces are launching this year’s Cadetship Competition today [22 March 2017].
The Officer Cadet Competition is held annually and is the only way for potential candidates to join the Defence Forces to become an Officer.
Below are the cadetships on offer this year and some of the requirements for applicant’s wishing to apply:
- Army Line
- Army Equitation
- Army Engineer Corps
- Air Corps (Pilot)
- Naval Service Operations Branch
- Naval Service Marine Engineering Branch
- Naval Service Electrical Engineering Branch
The application phase of the competition will remain open for 4 weeks. The closing date for this competition is Tuesday 18th April 2017. Applications for this are made online through www.military.ie
