Chauffeur company Devine’s Worldwide Chauffeur Services has announced the creation of 35 new jobs with the opening of the company’s new office in Santry on Dublin's Northside.
The company plans to launch a new chauffeur booking app later this year, that will allow passengers to make reservations and watch as their vehicle arrives via their smart phone.
From a start-off with just one man with a car in 1978, the company has driven some of the most high-profile stars in the world, including the Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga and Beyoncé.
Devine’s now has a fleet of over 40 cars as well as a staff of 60, with owner Mick Devine still at the helm.
Welcoming the today's announcement, An Tánaiste congratulated the company on the creation of the 35 new jobs, saying "Enterprises like these that are the backbone of the country."
