Pharma company Mallinckrodt has announced plans for the addition of 45 new jobs at its facility at College Business and Technology Park in Blanchardstown, North Dublin.
Mallinckrodt’s new location houses its corporate offices in Ireland and a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility which is currently undergoing commissioning and validation. It’s Global Device Engineering centre will be officially opened this morning by Leo Varadkar TD, Minister for Social Protection.
Mallinckrodt has been in Ireland for 25 years and has invested €95m in the facility. To date, most of its Irish activity has been in manufacturing. This latest project is focused on global research and development for medical devices.
New high-skilled job roles with the company include software development, product design and engineering. When filled, the company's Dublin headcount will rise to 120.
