NetNeutrals EU – an online dispute resolutions platform – has announced it is to open its European headquarters in Dublin, creating 20 jobs over the next three years.NetNeutrals EU is a spin-out company from DeMars & Associates. It was founded following the implementation of the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform, announced in February this year.

The aim of the platform is to offer a single point of entry for EU consumers and traders to settle their disputes for both domestic and cross-border online purchases, and now NetNeutrals EU will focus solely on these disputes.Based on existing EU data, 20pc of EU consumers experience consumer disputeseach year, but only 45pc are satisfied by the way a court handled their complaint. The company sees Ireland as its future heart of the operation, announcing it will establish its European headquarters and business operations centre in Dublin. This will result in the creation of 20 jobs at its office in Dublin 2, over the course of the next three years.

The key functions of its new European headquarters will include: management, sales and marketing support, programme administration, and finance, with recruitment beginning shortly.Jo DeMars, president of NetNeutrals EU, said at the office’s launch: “NetNeutrals has been providing ODR for consumers and companies like eBay for more than 10 years. We are delighted to bring our EU headquarters to Ireland and look forward to developing a scheme tailored to these needs.“NetNeutrals chose to establish its EU presence in Ireland due to the readily available, highly educated and multilingual work force. Dublin is easily accessed, whether from our Wisconsin office or the UK office.”
