Food technology company Nuritas has announced plans to expand its workforce in Ireland following a significant investment. The start-up company is to grow its staff numbers here to 60 in 2017. The announcement comes following a €2 million funding injection, supported by U2 band members among others.
Nuritas applies big data techniques to address serious health issues. The company works to discover life-changing ingredients within the billions of molecules in food that can be added to an array of health-benefiting consumer products and then used in such areas as the life sciences sector, in food supplements and the development of new drugs.
