It is reported this morning that up to 300 jobs could be on the way at a new pharmaceutical facility in County Roscommon. 100 construction jobs will also be created.
The PriMe 6 development which is located just outside Athlone could see seven drug companies sharing a state-of-the-art 'clean room,' while also having their own facilities. Roscommon TD and Communications Minister Denis Naughten said the development is a unique prospect for any drug company looking to expand into the EU.
