Another jobs boost for Cork as cybersecurity firm Smarttech247 announces that it is looking to fill dozens of roles.
As it continues its gradual international expansion, cybersecurity firm Smarttech247 is planning to bolster its headquarters in Cork with the creation of 30 jobs.
With help from Enterprise Ireland, the company aims to have the recruitment process finished by the end of this year.
The roles are expected to cover the areas of security analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, international business sales and project management.
The company was one of the first infosec outfits to work with IBM Watson for Cyber Security, which uses AI to help tackle the growing threat of cyberattacks in a world where millions – if not billions – of devices are connected as part of the internet of things.
