About Value Retail,
Value Retail, the owner of the popular shopping complex Kildare Village, has submitted plans for a €50m extension which would add another 29 shops and two restaurants to the scheme.
The new phase of the scheme, would also employ several hundred people when completed.
According to the planning documents, the expansion would require an additional 460 car parking spaces for additional customers.
It first emerged last year that Value Retail was mulling another expansion of the scheme but the lodgement of the planning application is the first confirmation that it is proceeding with the major investment.
