Positive news for tech in Wexford with the announcement of 10 new jobs from Voinext.

Voinext was one of the first firms to set up in the M11 Business Campus, the massive new technology centre located in Gorey, Co Wexford.

The company is an online customer engagement platform that makes it easier for businesses to talk to their customers via their websites.

Voinext has launched its first Ireland and UK service, which will allow potential and existing customers to click on a website and call that company free of charge from anywhere in the world.

10 new jobs have been announced by Voinext and will be created over the next 18 months, in a major boost for the tech sector in the sunny south-east.

Sectors included are sales and marketing as well as product integration and support staff.

After an initial fundraising round of €250,000, a three-year R&D programme began in 2014, leading to the growth that Voinext is currently enjoying.

Jim Tracey, co-founder and CEO of Voinext, explained that the internet-based technology and business model is the first online, free-to-use, call-free service of its kind.

He added that “existing services, like type chat or ticketing callbacks, are clunky, slow and expensive as they rely mostly on the customer’s telco or software provider”, whereas Voinext is only paid for when it is used.

“In other words, if our service doesn’t deliver the customer, there is no cost to the business – not even implementation costs.”
