Chinese phone provider Huawei has partnered with Trinity College Dublin as it aims to grow its research and development (R&D) output in Ireland.
Additionally, the company has expanded its Cork R&D operation, which is growing to nearly 20 highly-skilled staff.
Guo Ping Huawei rotating chief executive, said the Trinity partnership forms a part of the company’s growing commitment to investing in Ireland. “We are continuing to tap into Ireland’s growing clusters of video, artificial intelligence, cloud, telecoms and technology businesses, nurturing future talent and providing additional new opportunities for highly-skilled professionals.”
